One year older...

Well, I'll be honest that I don't feel any sort of cheer towards you, though I'm trying to remain positive. I don't know about well-wishes. I have a few thoughts, to be sure. Maybe some hopes and odd wishes...

May you never take a single breath for granted.
May you never think twice before helping someone in need.
May you learn to be thankful for life's thorns as well as its roses.
May you find what you're looking for and once you do, may you not be afraid to forsake it.

I hope you have splendid days this coming year, so you may be coerced to think of Him and His grace.
I hope you have sorrowful days as well, so you may remember what it feels like to care so much that it hurts.
I hope you learn one day, that life is meant to be shared, and love is meant to be real.
I hope you'll love to learn, whatever the Lord has for you.
I hope you'll learn to love.
I hope you'll learn to listen and believe, when someone says "I love you, and always will."
